Did you know that when most people make an offer only 1% of their audience will buy it? That means if you put in the hard work to get 100 people on your mailing list, only ONE person will buy. If you're even able to hit the 1% mark. But what if you could blow those statistics out of the water and create an offer that converts like made? Stay tuned for my secret recipe for a high converting offer.Ingredient #3: Format Congruency
Oh how nice it would be if we could just put an offer out there and our audience just whipped out their credit cards no questions asked. But, alas, it's not always that easy, is it? BOO!
And here are the 3 ingredients I've noticed create the perfect blend for an offer that your fans can't wait to devour!
Ingredient #1: Topic Congruency
If you want people to jump on your offer, make sure the TOPIC of your offer is congruent with their WANTS. Keep in mind, I say "WANTS" not "NEEDS". Even if you have something that you know your prospects NEED, it's important to bring them in with messages tailored towards what they WANT first. Sell them what they want and then give them waht they need. And if you're not sure what your audience wants, then GO ASK! Seriously, the value of market research is so under-played in this industry. Even at my level, I STILL organize focus groups of my clietns to ask them TONS of market research questions and then I USE their words, their responses, and their insights to craft my offers. No matter how big or small you are, the BEST way to know what your audience WANTS is to talk to them.
Ingredient #2: Price Congruency
Pricing has a BIG impact on your conversions. Price it lower than your prospects would expect, and they'll fail to see the value. Price it too high, and they'll give you a "have you lost your mind?" look and walk away. So make sure what you're charging is in line with your audience's expectations. For example, if you're selling a debt management course, your audience is in debt, so the price is going to look a lot different than if you're selling, say, a course about going from 6 to 7 figures. Again, it all goes back to KNOWING YOUR AUDIENCE. When you really know your audience, that's when your marketing starts to CLICK! {snap fingers}
Ingredient #3: Format Congruency
What formats are your fans used to? how do they best learn and get results? Do they prefer 1:1 or group? Virtual or in person? Shorter programs or longer ones? Video or Audio or Text? You want to make sure that the FORMAT or STRUCTURE of your offer is in line with HOW they like to learn and work with you as a coach. Hopefully you're picking up on a pattern here....You need to KNOW YOUR AUDIENCE to make these decision.
So there you have it, fellow SUPERpreneur - if you wanna pump up those conversions, just make sure your offers are CONGRUENT with the Topic, Pricing, and Format your audience WANTS and expects.
